Making soaps: preparing the dough
For the preparation of your soaps, you will need a block of pure glycerin, coloring paste, essential oil and silicone molds. All of these materials are easily found in hobby shops. Start by cutting your glycerin into small pieces in a container, add a few dyes and then essential oil to the fragrance that pleases you, in the quantity you want. For a light result, add only five to six drops. Then heat it up in the microwave for about two minutes.
Making soaps: all shapes for all scents
When hot, the mixture becomes completely liquid. You just have to place it in your different small molds. Slide the overhang to fill the rest of the empty molds. Remember to shake the mold well because often air bubbles form at the bottom. Place the mold in the refrigerator, and wait for the soaps to harden well before removing them. You get pretty little transparent soaps, inside which you can also add decoration, like shavings of gold leaf. Thanks to Julien Navas for his "clean" and original gifts.
